I have to be honest I’d never heard the word let alone understood what a Doula was until I was asked to develop this logo design.

For those people who don’t know what a Doula is, they provide are a trained companion but not a healthcare professional who supports their client through mainly pregnancy and the early days after birth.

The iDoula service wanted to ensure they portrayed an image of holistic and natural care, one that was very much grounded in the very natural process of pregnancy and birth.

This design embraces the natural focusing on the tree of life concept whilst integrating the hearts depicting the caring aspect of the service.  This bold logo design also embraces a Mackintosh-inspired font at the request of the client, the finished logo design provides a strong, natural and caring feel to the company name
