Designed for Colony Gift Corporation (now Wax Lyrical) , part of Colonial Candle USA these designs have been created to work on a sub brand for the company called Carolina.  The Carolina brand is an entry-level brand of scented candles positioned to attract customers who may not want to spend too much on luxury scented candles but enjoy the experience burning a scented candle brings.

Following the client brief the set of designs is centred around a core brand identity ‘by Carolina’ which is then used as a device on each of the product offerings.  The original band name Carolina Candles wasn’t felt to have much meaning so was reduced to a more person-centred offering becoming ‘by Carolina’ evoking the sense that someone called Carolina made and developed the products.

In addition Colony Gift Corporation wanted the whole range to ‘hang together’ as a range whilst embracing attractive packaging design for shelf presence.

The resulting set of designs are first a ‘swing tag’ design for the home accessories accompanying the range, items such as tea light holders etc or candle sticks.

The second design is a piece of packaging design for the range of scented pillar candles and lastly packaging designs for scented tea lights.
