When Lorraine at Holly Tree Childrens Day Nursery contacted me about working with her to develop a brand image for her children’s nursery I was delighted to help.

She understood that my experience and knowledge in helping develop the Safehands Network childcare brand would surely help her business in more ways than one.

Passionate about the service she offered it was evident that this logo design must provide a solid foundation for the business to grow and be classic enough to be relevant throughout the years.

In my conversations with Lorraine, she used a phrase that became incorporated with the logo design the phrase “they are all little superstars” her passion and love for what she was doing radiated from her and inspired me to create a brand identity that embodies so much of what childcare and early years education are all about.

The seed of the design came from the words Lorraine used but the name Holly Tree also became the seed for the development, superstars, Hollywood, etc etc.  By incorporating simple building block shapes and a bold choice of font the logo design took shape.  Intended to provide a sense of presence, a destination to grow and develop, the logo works superbly as signage whilst is wonderful when used on uniforms and in print.
