Online art and print reseller Galleries and Co turned to me to create a logo design that would tell a story about the company.

Given the story of how the company was formed and the inspiration they found in the abstract expressionistic artist Mark Rothko this logo perfectly reflects the very essence of the Galleries and Co founders.

The simple, yet effect iconography is reminiscent of the Rothko piece ‘End Wall‘.

The strapline suggest by myself “simple expression of the complex thought” also underscores just what the company are about.
