La Belle Époque or if you prefer in English the Beautiful Epoch.  The customer at Belle Interiors main business was french reproduction furniture, given that the name already was Belle Interiors it made sense to fuse both the French era of fine furnishing and beautiful things with a certain degree of British influence.  My immediate point of focus was to look at fonts and as La Belle Epoch was around the Edwardian era in the UK I looked at Edwardian-style fonts.

Often overly flamboyant and difficult to read I liked how elements could be fused to make an icon for the company logo.  The resulting icon is made from elements of an Edwardian letter B fused graphically to create a placeholder for a heart shape.  The heart obviously eludes to the love the client had for the style of furniture she sells.

Forming the typography for the company name out of a classic Times Serif style font also provides that sense of tradition whilst rooting the whole design on a weighty but not overpowering base.
