Hands up who remembers animated GIF’s?

To those not up with web design speak they where the annoying animated images that used to festoon websites a good few years ago, before the days of flash. The type of thing like the website under construction man on the right.

Well animated gifs haven’t gone away, they have simply become sophisticated and are often used in a really arty way (in my mind anyway)

The website all that’s interesting features a good few animated gifs with an artistic leaning such as the one below.
