This logo design is very much about creating a brand from the person and their creations

Paula Powell creates original pieces of art and handmade cards, a true artisan crafter and so with this in mind the logo needed to work as a label, stamp and online whilst embracing the nature of the person and crafts they create.

The design combines both a strong serif font for the last name whilst a softer more handwritten font for the first name, the combination of the two provides a strong but creative image, with the person very much at the heart of the logo design.

Using the dashed line around the outside of the design also evokes a sense of stitching which points to the handmade nature of the pieces created.

With versions in both 4 colour and black and white, the design can be used across all types of applications easily.
