Go Atlas Logo Design
Driving schools are of course all about teaching people to drive and passing the driving test. When asked to create a logo design for the newly formed company Go Atlas I was at first drawn to the unusual name of the company, however, the owner of the company simply liked the name he had chosen for his business and had no real depth to his reasons. Working from the motivation of why a company got its name often helps provide depth and further meaning to the business identity however in this case the emphasis needed to be on the nature of the business.
Having spoken to the owner of the company at length about his service features the emphasis was very much around portraying the ability to pass your driving test fast, in the conversation the client expressed how ‘it’s all about ticking those test boxes as quickly as possible.’
In that one conversation, the logo design and strapline for the logo design took shape in my mind, designing the logo was purely a case of interpreting the ideas and conversation into the finished product.
With this logo design, the logo needed to work first as a car sign as well as in print so a bold design and colour scheme came as standard almost.
The resulting design ticked all the boxes for the client for sure.
