WordPress Training Day – the perfect start

Warrington based company SF Group asked me to provide a custom WordPress Training Day, so their IT crowd could get a flying start on understanding the potential of WordPress for a number of different business needs.
5 delegate WordPress Training
The 5 delegate training session was held at their Warrington offices, with each of the delegates bringing with them certain specialisms in IT from SQL database administration right through to technical support. The training consisted of the following training modules with each of the delegates working live on individual training web hosting platforms.
- Installation of the WordPress platform
- General walk through of the base install capabilities.
- Installation and configuration of plugins and widgets
- Content types and how they differ
- General overview of theme structure and options available
- Understanding frameworks and working with hooks.
- Free practical time with questions and answers.
At the end of the session we had time to work through a number of the more detailed requests ensuring all the team went away enthused and eager to implement WordPress solutions across many of the business sectors.
